Czech OD Combat Web Belt
The Czechoslovak People's Army did not put much faith in optional equipment, and their combat belt reflects exactly that.
Issued as part of the standard field webbing used by Czechoslovak and Czech Army forces through the Cold War era, this OD green nylon belt served double duty as both a trouser belt and an equipment carrier. The metal grommet adjustment system allowed soldiers to mount pistol holsters, pouches, and other field kit directly to the belt itself. The ČSLA operated under Soviet organizational doctrine from the late 1940s through 1989, and their field equipment followed the same philosophy: simple, durable, and built to outlast whoever signed for it.
